Description
The Eye of Anubis -- Michel de Angelis
The resident "bard" of the expedition, Michel is a cheerful, talkative man and a good hand at the violin. One of the NPCs, he's also been hired on as a guard. He's the son of the former ambassador to Pharazia (a Middle-Eastern-themed domain in Ravenloft). While he was there, I'm presuming he picked up some of the Pharazian fashion trends, hence why he's not wearing the same old jacket-and-slacks that a good portion of the party seems to enjoy wearing.
In this picture, I really had to try and tackle my fear of drawing inorganic objects. The violin had me stumped for a fair bit, and I had to do some very careful positioning to get it to look anywhere close to right. I still have a phobia of inorganic objects and shapes. The perspective's just so much more rigid on them! But! I am gradually overcoming that phobia. I hope. Added a simple background and a sunset scheme to give it a more "romantic" sort of feeling.
Took about 4 hours in Photoshop CS3, mostly cel-shading with a few tricks here and there.

This looks kind of 3d and you have a nice choise of colors. Nice try on the violin, but you didn't get it dead on. Hey you can draw a violin better than I can. XP He's French?
