"I call upon the Maiden of the Mist! Come, Undine!"

Blue is my favorite color, and so I really enjoy monocolor, bicolor, and tricolor schemes based on the color blue. I was having an urge to draw the summon spirits from Tales of Symphonia, but couldn't decide which one to start with. My girlfriend flipped through my reference pictures and selected Undine, and this is what came out. I really had a good time drawing her, especially since I got to use blue as a base for virtually the entire picture.

My favorite part of the picture is her hair, while the part I am the least comfortable with is the water flow around her. I wasn't really sure how I wanted to color it, so I played around with some random lines and that's what came out. I used a hard-pressed white pencil over her dress to try to smudge the colors and make the water more apparent where it's supposed to flow in front of her, rather than behind.
